Throughout these plans, I've assumed you're familiar with scale model rocketry and its various construction techniques. If you're not, Peter Alway's book The Art of Scale Model Rockets and the rec.models.rockets faq are better places to start. But if you've ever made a card stock transition and can follow the directions on 5-minute epoxy, you can swing this one.
The orbiter may be constructed as gliding or non-gliding. The non-gliding version will be much simpler to build and fly. It also doesn't require a balsa transition adapter (needed to hold the supressor bars for the gliding version); a paper shroud adapter can be substituted. If you're opting for non-gliding, skip the parts about cutting out the elevons, hinging them, gluing in the supressor wires, etc.Follow the link-line below, and print paper copies of the plans to use as you build.
