In the works: more pictures.
So scope out the X-20 stuff (look left). More to come Real Soon Now.
Swear I'm going to finish that WAC/V-2 any day now. Then get on to that Nike-Ajax. Could use some clear, cool weather about now.

Rocketeers of south Mississippi, Unite! (anybody there?)
I keep tossing around the idea of organizing an NAR section here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but some things keep holding up my effort (for example). Why have a club?

  1. Group launches are more fun.
  2. Flying field access.
  3. Education of kids and other newbies.
My interests mainly are in fun flying, sport scale, and AstroCam photography using D-class and smaller black powder motors. I get a kick out of egg lofting too. Always with the kids in tow. But if your interests are elsewhere in model rocketry, that's good, we can still work together. The only significant problems that I can see are with high power stuff -- south Mississippi doesn't have the wide open spaces needed to fly those.

But I don't have time to carry the flag and do all of the footwork to organize a club. I only have the time to do lots of the work. Interested in helping co-found a local group? Just want to get together and fly? Contact me.
