This page is about my current interests and projects.  Nothing earth shattering, but you may find some useful info if you are working on something similar.

A little background on my self, if you care.  I am an Electrical Engineer, with an eclectic experience background.  I am a graduate of Mississippi State University (1988).  My engineering specialties are: RF design, embedded micro-controller design (assembly programming), power supply design, Labview programming (if you can call it that), Java programming (still wet behind the ears), and  electro-mechanical equipment design.  I am employed by Planning Systems Incorporated in Long Beach, MS.

Current Personal Projects and Interests:

• Java serial port control on Linux.  Solved it using the SerialPort Class by these guys.
• Java gui development and multiplatform deployment using Jbuilder2.
• Embedded GPS navigation solutions and applications.
• Millennium Java Clock. (I might get to this before 2000!) I knew if I waited long enough someone else would do it! Check it out here.

Current Professional Projects:

• Ground Penetrating Radar to detect plastic anti-tank mines.
• Java based command and control interface for GPR system.
• Two-way wireless communication mobile transceiver design.
• And other fun stuff they pay me to do!
