Northrop Grumman Corp is Where I Worked from 1987-1998




I wrote the computer program (Generalized Compressible Navier Stokes, GCNS) used by Northrop Grumman to determine detailed characteristics of airflow for complex problems. This capability is demonstrated well by this rendering of the landing Harrier done by Merrit Smith and Kalpana Chawla (now an astronaut) at NASA Ames Research Center.

 

I worked from 1996 through 1998 to start up the new DoD Supercomputing center in Stennis, Mississippi. You can find out more about the center by clicking on the picture below:
