Goldinc offers 3 usage plans ($9.95, $17.95, and $24.95) - Guess which one is un-metered!

All Dialup Plans - General Info.

Prepayment Options are available for all dialup plans. These options can save you 10% off of the prices below. We will also waive the $20 startup fee for a new account that is set up with 6 month's prepayment.
Modem dial-up plans provide at least 28.8 kbps service (33.6 kbps, X2, V.90 and ISDN are supported).
No restrictions on time of day for usage.
We will hard-copy mail invoices, if desired, for quarterly payment, otherwise, we'll email bill you each month.
There is no additional service fee for payments made by check. We can take MasterCard, VISA, money orders, Legal Tender, and can provide Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for "hassle-free" payment.
We'll send you, if necessary, all the software you need to enable you to FTP the software you need for either Mac or Windows. We'll help you configure it. We won't charge you 1 penny until you've had a chance to use our service for 5 days, so that we both know what we're getting.
All plans offer access to thousands of newsgroups and a free subscription to Newsguy, formerly known as "Zippo", for access to those newsgroups that we must frequently expire on our own news server. Yes, that's right ... we operate our own news server, we participate in the regional ms.* hierarchy, and we could use gobs(tm) more disk space.
A shell account is included in all dialup plans.

No accounts are capable of having simultaneous logins on the same account. Simultaneous logins require what we call "secondary accounts", and are offered at a discount.
Only our un-metered dialup account includes space on our web server, but those 5 megs are available with no commercial restrictions, and you can resell your webspace if you want. People seem to like that about us :^)
Goldinc has a 15-minute idle timeout but no session timeout. You are free to immediately dial back in if you experience an idle timeout, but only if you are actively using the service. If you're not actively using our service, but artificially keeping the line active, we'll ask you to find another service provider. If you're actively using the line 24 hours a day you really need to ask us about a dedicated connection.
Web/FTP space is upgradable on all accounts ... that is, if you need more than what your service plan provides, you can buy only what you need.
PPP/SLIP dialup access to the Internet (duh!)

$9.95 per month for 20 hours. Additional hours at $2 per hour.
There is a $20 startup fee, due after our 5 day free trial period, which covers our account setup costs. After the 5 days, you'll be billed for the setup fee and the first month (prorated) starting from the date your account was created, or from the date at which you were first able to use the Internet.
May be used by multiple individuals within an organization, but never simultaneously.
Includes:
- 0 MB for personal Web/FTP space. Nada. Zilch. If you need web space you'll need to negotiate a price, or sign up for our un-metered plan.
Your web page URL, if you could have one, would have been of the form http://www.goldinc.com/~mailboxname
On the $9.95 plan, as with others, simultaneous login usage is not permitted. Deal with it.
ISDN access is available at no additional charge. Similarly X2. Similarly V.90
- 64k ISDN pricing is as above.
- $1/hr additional charge for any 128k ISDN access.
If detailed reports, cgi scripts, secure server transactions, or more bandwidth are needed, please choose the un-metered dialup account.

$17.95 for 50 hours. Additional hours at $1 per hour.
There is a $20 startup fee, billed after 5 days, pro-rated for the first month, yadda, yadda, yadda.
May be used by multiple individuals within an organization, but never simultaneously.
Includes:
- 0 MB for web/ftp space. Nada. Zilch. Woah ... deja vu.
If you call to change your service plan ... and we don't recognize your voice, well, shame on us.

Ok, here we go:
$24.95 for unlimited use.
There is a $20 startup fee, billed after 5 days, which covers our account setup costs. You will also be billed for the pro-rated amount for your first month.
For individual or business use.
Includes:
- 5 MB for personal or commercial Web/FTP space. Bandwidth usage (the amount of bandwidth used by other people reading your web pages or accessing your ftp files on our server) is unlimited.
- If you need help designing your web page, we're here for you :^)
- Access to web server logs.
- Access to a Unix (Linux) shell account
- Use of "mailto" form, image maps, and user-level CGI.
- Extra mailboxes are available for $5 per month.
- Up to 5 vanity email Aliases of up to 32 characters per mailbox are available at no charge

Simultaneous login is not permitted. We know, this is no way to run an airline, but hey ... we're not an airline.
No limit on hours used, but this is not intended to be a full-time connection. Line will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. Member agrees not to provide any public information services over this connection, not to use any automatic method to avoid inactivity disconnect, and to keep the connection active only when the member is actively using it. Abuse your service and your account is toast.
ISDN available at no extra charge.
- Metered 64k ISDN access is priced as above. Additional hours will be billed identically to analog calls
- $1/hr additional charge for any 128k ISDN access.

Dialup Plans - Options

Extra mailbox (not an alias) on same account - $5 per month per mailbox (only 1 mailbox is included free with a service plan).
"Vanity address" (up to 32-character name on email address) - 5 FREE per mailbox. You need a firstname.lastname email alias? Or an IRC handle aliased to your mailbox? These email aliases don't require any additional system resources (to speak of), and you can have up to 5. You really don't need 5 ... but you can have them if you really really want them.
Domain name registration and mail forwarding - $35 setup fee. (This includes only our time for setting up the virtual hosting). You'll be billed by the InterNIC for the $70 registration fee; $20 per month ongoing paid to Goldinc; $35 annual maintenance fee billed by the InterNIC after 2 years. You will own your domain name. We will provide the address of technical contact (within goldinc.com). You will provide the admin and billing contacts.
800 Number Service - (Not available for ISDN). $6 per month, 10 cents/minute over 60.
Goldinc offers additional web space for all dialup plans. You can increase your web space in increments of 1MB up to a total of 15MB. The cost is $1.00 per 1MB increment. There are no bandwidth charges.
