However, this note required just such an action. On December 19, 1995 Worldshop opened a public service application on the World Wide Web called Operation Home Front. This service is an interactive resource and communications area for members of the U.S. and NATO armed forces, especially those serving in Bosnia, to communicate with their families and friends at home using the Internet. Operation Home Front has received much attention from the media and rapidly became a high traffic site. The press coverage is continuing as more and more people are visiting Home Front and making use of the e-mail, chat, and other interactive features. We ask that you, as an Internet Service Provider, join with us in letting people know that Operation Home Front exists and is a link between people at home and those serving the causes of World Peace around the globe. You can be a tremendous help by informing your members of Operation Home Front and by offering an easy link to our site. If you are willing to help, we in turn will list your company as a co-sponsor of Operation Home Front and provide a similar link to you. Regardless of your politics or geographic location, we hope that you will see Operation Home Front as an outstanding way to serve an important need in mankinds struggle for World peace and to contribute to the positive awareness of the Internet in the minds of the public. In addition, we believe that Operation Home Front will result in a substantial number of new Internet users and would be pleased to offer your company as an Internet service reference. Please let us know if you are willing to assist in this mission. If you have questions or comments, we would also like to hear from you. I will look forward to your rapid response. Warmest regards, Richard Houskamp CEO/Worldshop P.S. : If this message should have been sent to a different person, please forward it to the appropriate WEB authority. Thanks again.
