Rafting Pictures:

These are pictures from a variety of the trips that we have been on.
We commonly raft the Upper Colorado, North Platte through North
Gate Canyon (didn't take pictures last time...it was pretty wild), Poudre River,
Green River, Rio Grande, Snake, and several others.

Most of the adults in the troop do these recreations
on their own without the scouts too.

The following were from our Spring Break Expedition to Big Bend Texas
and the Rio Grande.  We went through Sta Elena Canyon at really low water

This is how the adults like it!  We do all the work and they sit around.

The Argonaut Crew in action.  We also brought a duck which was fun.

Getting ready to push the boat again.  At least here in Texas it was warm!

Getting ready to scout the Rockpile in Sta Elena Canyon.

Lazing down the Rio with the Sentinel in the background.

We had to lift the rafts over a really thin spot in the Rockpile

Just pokin' around in the canyon.

This is a close up of us getting trashed on the Arkansas!  We survived
and went down again!

Doing it right with an all Scout powered paddleboat.  Snake River
near Jackson, WY, mid to low water.

We're getting ready for this years rafting by learning rescue techniques
during our meetings.
