Caving Pictures from Cave Creek and Bighorn Caves

CAVE CREEK CAVE  A few pictures.  More will be added as time goes by.

During a summer trip, a bat flew past our position.  The Troop has a policy of not
disturbing bats, and does not explore this cave after a freeze, which would kill bats if they
flew, as there would be no food for them to restore their hibernation stores.

Cave Creek cave is famous for historical inscriptions scratched in the mud that
covers the limestone.  Although the Troop has done some restoration work on spray painted
disfigurement, many of these inscriptions are protected.
