In the 2008 legislative session Dirk Dedeaux will fight for affordable homeowner's insurance for working Mississippians.

For the past 8 years State Representative Dirk Dedeaux has done his part to bring good paying jobs to South Mississippi. Dirk coordinated efforts in the House of Representatives to pass legislation that brought Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Wellman to StennisSpace Center and Port Bienville. Dirk also supported the expansion of Nothrup Grumman at Ingalls and the new computer fabrication plant at Howard Industries. His aggressive approach to economic development has earned Dirk the endorsement of the South Central Labor Council.

Dirk Dedeaux believes in traditional family values. He has helped fight for tougher drug laws to protect our families and communities. Dirk has earned the endorsement of the Mississippi Right to Life Committee for his consistent stand against abortion.

Dirk Dedeaux stood by his commitment to put the education of our children first. Computers are now in every classroom, student test scores are rising and our teachers are earning a better living. Because of his progressive support for education, Dirk has earned the endorsement of the Mississippi Association of Educators.

Dirk Dedeaux believes we should protect our natural resources with common sense conservation methods so land and water will be available for the enjoyment of future generations for hunting and fishing.

Dirk Dedeaux has earned the endorsement of the National Rifle Association because he firmly believes that the Second Amendment Constitutional right to keep and bear arms must be protected.
