As I write this recipe for eternal life, I have a cake baking in the oven. Because I want a streusel cake, I have followed specific directions. In about 50 minutes, I shall remove from my oven, a streusel cake. How do I know what kind of cake I will remove from the oven? Because, I wanted a certain kind of cake and made preperations for that kind of cake, I shall have, in this case, a streusel cake.
If one wants to go to heaven, he must follow specific directions in order to get to heaven. The one requirement for heaven is one must have ETERNAL LIFE. HEaven is a place of exquisite splendor where all of it's inhabitants live abundantly full and meaningful lives...FOREVER! Therefore, one, without eternal life, would not have prepared himself to live there.
If you want eternal life, you may follow this recipe for eternal life; the result will be that you shall receive ETERNAL LIFE! Then, you shall have an eternal abiding place prepared just for you in heaven.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." Acts 3:19a.
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." 1 Cor. 15:3-4.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24.
Now, what is your part or what should you do to get eternal life? Just simply pray this prayer and mean it: "God, be merciful to me, a sinner" Luke 18:13 or "Lord, save me." Mathew 14:30.
Just as surely as you, in earnest, pray this prayer, the results will come. The promise of God is "For whosoever (whosoever is personal and it means you and me) shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom. 10:13.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Rom. 10:9-10.
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;(Jesus) that ye may know that ye have eternal life," I John 5:11-13a.
I just removed a beautifully baked streusel cake from my oven. If you have followed this RECIPE FOR ETERNAL LIFE, you can say as surely as I can say I have a streusel cake, that you now have ETERNAL LIFE.
Friend, you have made the grandest decision of your life. I'm looking forward to meeting you in heaven...WHY...because YOU, like I, have ETERNAL LIFE as the result of following this recipe!
