Saturday afternoon, a Gold Inc. staff member was dispatched to
Biloxi Beach so that some digital color photos of the 20th Annual
Sand Sculpture Contest could be taken. Most of the photos had
very low contrast -- being mostly "shadowed sand", sand on sand,
sandy sand,.. well you get the idea. Anyway, in order to
bring out more detail in the sculpture images, as well as improve
their loading times, most were photos converted to Gray Scale, modified
for maximum contrast, then saved as moderately-lossy images.
Here we see a Santa being pulled along by a team of happy sharks.
